Homework Assistance - Free Program
DIG Life Tutoring Program is a free zoom homework help program entirely online. We service the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) and continue to show a demand greater than we are able to service every year. 2021 marked the 1st year of the tutoring program and over 160 students in grades kinder to 12th grade expressed a need and applied. We serviced a total of 160 students. In 2022 the number of students applying doubled and 100 percent of 2021 participants were enrolled.
Our tutors are generous volunteers that donate their time to assist our students and create strong lasting connections. This introduced the DIG Mentorship Program.
Nationwide Laptop & Hotspot Giveaway Program

The laptops are distributed to eligible students based on need, academic merit, or a combination of factors. The goal is to help level the playing field and provide students with the tools they need to succeed in their education. Each year, we award scholarships to deserving students who demonstrate academic merit, financial need, and a strong commitment to their community and personal growth. Initiated in memory of Damien, a gifted barber whose kindness touched many, the program aims to empower young minds to achieve their dreams just as he did.
